US IN THIS ROUND WORLD
Us in This Round World is a children-led journal created by young people, for young people.
The journal is a space for children and teenagers to share how they see, experience, question, and make sense of the world around them. The prompts are facilitated by Mysticeti, but what emerges from them is entirely theirs.
From responding to prompts and developing ideas to reading, sharing, and shaping each other’s work, the process is designed around peer exchange and child-led participation. Mysticeti provides guidance, editorial support, and the framework for the journal, while the children take the lead in deciding what they want to say and how they want to say it.
More than a collection of children's work, the journal is an invitation to read their thoughts in their own words—their observations, questions, contradictions, curiosities, and ways of seeing this round world.
